Stars and Stripey Shorts

I have made these 2 pairs of shorts in the last week for my little man. Yes more shorts with stars on them but it is only because there is not a great deal of fabric choices for little boys in the shops. Anyway I am happy with both these pairs of shorts and DS seems to like them too.

Not sewing but a couple of things I have made lately

I made this nappy cake for my new niece and her parents. Ever since Miranda got one in Sex in the City I have been making them for my friends and family's new arrivals. I just get the basic things that babies and their parents need and creatively wrap it. This one has 48 disposable nappies, 5 cloth nappies, a red bath towel (they love the colour red) a pram toy, a rubber ducky and a set of baby nail clippers. I also finally finished this beanie for DS but he won't model it so puppy is helping me out.

Projects made in 2005

Whilst I was pregnant I made this cot quilt and nappy stacker.

Have also made this camera case for my digital camera (didn't like any of the ones in shops they were all too bulky) a faux fur throw rug backed with polar fleece and here is a picture of some of the Hemp Nappies I have made (a bit boring but very useful and practical)

A blog at last,,,

Finally I have a blog to show off my creations....

Firstly here a few of my past efforts.

I made these a few years ago for my godson, he has now returned them to me for my little boy to wear.

Below, here they are being worn by my shy little model
