Our Softies have been received

Now that our softies have been received we can post a picture of them. I made the Birdie for Sambient's little boy and for her very new darling daughter I made the star (it has a shaker noise in it for when it moves and lots of ribbons to pull and suck)

Some Fabric fo ME

I saw this on the weekend and loved it had to have it I like that it is different. DH was a bit are you sure you want that and I told him his opinion didn't count and I was getting it anyway he tells me last night that he now likes it. Anyway I am going to make a skirt just have to be careful when I cut it to make sure I pattern match the girls in it. As it wasn't cheap so don't want to make a mistake and have to get more.

A Softie for Us

Well look what lovely mail we received today from Brazen

Eddie isn't he cute. He has a cute little face and an even cuter little bottom with a heart on it.

Thank you DS loves his new little friend and he arrived on a day when not alot was right for him as he is sick and has molars coming through so the few smiles we got from Eddie were a welcome change from the crying and whinging of today and yesterday.

New Fabric purchases

Well after a trip to Spotlight yesterday and the mail delivery today I have a few things for future projects.


I got the camo motor bikes cotton drill at spotlight and the motor cars trucks etc is a fat quart from Atomic Boom Fabrics on Ebay I will make shorts out of the camo motorbikes and the other one will be used for some tshirt aplique and patches on other shorts I think or to fancy up a book bag I just loved it because it was so little boyish.

I also got these two girlie fabrics and I think I will give a shirred top a go with the floral one it can be for one of my neices or my friends little girl it will depend on how it all goes and what size the top turns out as to who gets it (well who it fits) then if the first one works I will do another one in the spots if not it will be a funky library bag or I will find a use for it one day. I just loved the bright spots and had to have it.
